Are PLR Stores a Viable Way to Make Money?

If youíve been considering the business model of selling private label rights, then one of the first questions youíll probably ask is whether or not PLR stores are a viable way to make money.

One funny thing that happens in the world of Internet marketing is that rumors get circulated about various doom and gloom scenarios. Usually, it has to do with Google shakeups in the SEO realm, but sometimes itís about a specific business branch.

At times, rumors can be true ñ such as what happened with link farms and Squidoo shutting down. But other times, itís simply fear mongering that never materialized, like with PLR.

Private label rights have been around for well over a decade ñ since before 2005. Even then marketers tiptoed around the possibility that somehow, it would become a defunct idea quickly.

It never did. Thatís because content will always be needed online. PLR can be transformed into a myriad of media formats ñ including text, audio, video, infographics and more.

So yes, PLR is a viable way to make quite a good amount f money online ñ quickly. If you can write or create video or audio, then you can launch a PLR business. There are two ways to do it.

The first is to simply open a website that sells PLR content. Having a store of your own is a good way to see residual profits over time. You wake up and someone has purchased $110 worth of PLR and thatís a good feeling.

Youíll build a list of hungry PLR buyers ñ and every time you release something new, theyíll be the first to purchase it, giving you a quick influx of cash. These days, PLR sellers are conducting official launches.

They turn to a platform like Warrior Plus or JVZoo and put their product launch on there ñ usually announcing it on a site like Muncheye so that topics and dates donít overlap among the sellers.

There, you recruit affiliates and joint venture partners for your launch, which is typically anywhere from four to seven days at a special discount price. When the sale ends, the PLR is then bumped up to full price, where it remains on both JVZoo and on your own PLR store, if you want dual coverage of the marketplace.

Private Label Rights are very popular with niche marketers because when youíre running an online business, you need tons of content for blog posts, email autoresponders, bonuses, opt in freebies, products to sell and more.
