Midco issued a statement that cause of an outage is believed to be isolated and customer servers should improve minute-by-minute.

Customers in South Dakota, North Dakota and Minnesota have reported that their phone, email and internet services are not working.

There has been a disruption of services since at least 8 a.m. today.

Midco issued a statement on their Facebook page that customers can look for updates on social media since the company’s phone services are not working either. Customers may need to reboot equipment to bring services back online, according to the Midco website. If calling the toll-free number, be aware that hold times may be longer than usual.

An update at 9:30 a.m. stated that crews were working on restoring the services.

Earlier in the week, email services were disrupted for Midco users and customers reported missing emails after services were restored.

The problem was a malfunction in a new email storage platform, according to a statement by Midco.
